A new project has been announced in the WetCanvas! project system!

Title: Creating Games
Project Leader: Bendaini
Relative Difficulty: Easy
Type Restrictions: Any Type
Medium: Any Medium
Subject: Other
Days open for signups: Always
Maximum participants allowed: Unlimited

Description:

It's always good to stretch the imagination, and creativity. Game boards are a wonderful way to do this.

For this project you can either revamp an old game, or create a new one. Give the board/card or other item some personality, or completely change it. Maybe put it on a curved surface, or a dreamscape.

Your game doesn't have to be playable, though it should look like it could be used for something (I.E. you don't have to make rules for it). It can be made from any media, or item. All that is necessary is a bit of creativity.

Additional Information:

For more information on the project: Click here! (http://www.wetcanvas.com//Community/Projects/browse_details.php?proj_id=596)

Remember, in order to help keep the discussions on projects organized, you should post your questions, suggestions, and comments on submitted work here in this thread. By doing this, we allow other non-project efforts to not get "pushed down" by a swarm of project-related threads.

Oh come now, hasn't anyone signed up for this project? Or is everyone busy with Christmas?

Bendaini, my 11 year old daughter got excited about the project and made a board game to enter. We'll post it tomorrow. Thanks for the reminder!

Oh wow, that is just awesome. I've been wanting to make a chess set for a while, but never thought of anything like that. How unique.

What a wonderful idea. I've got something similar, "Castle Quest" without the dangers. I love your fantasy twist to it.
