View Full Version : How to mount paper or canvas to wood?
07-23-2001, 02:22 PM
I would be interested in hearing any ideas that anyone has on the best ways to mount a painting or drawing done on paper or unstretched canvas to a wood or masonite support. i have tried acrylic medium with limited success and also contact cement, but that gets a little unwieldy when dealing with anything of any size. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here is an excellent demo that Larry did.:)
Also these two threads contain more info
I would avoid the use of Rubber Cement on anything that you want to be around for more than a year.
It destroys art with a vengeance.
