Hi everyone; a graphite drawing I've been working on this Thanksgiving of a Tahitian friend of mine. White charcoal highlights on 12"x16" mi teintes paper. Too big for my scanner so I pieced it together in photoshop and tried to fix the colors a bit.
Any suggestions would be muchly appreciated. And I promise it looks better "in real life". Also attached is my reference.

Neat subject! I think that it's really nice, a couple little suggestions...let the shadow under her nose be the top of her lip rather than a line and soften it at the top edges. Also...use the in-between value on the lower part of her face to soften and define her jaw more...you did that, but it needs to go further back to her jawline. She's very beautiful!

Looking good. Dyin hit it on the nose. Soften the line under her lip also, add a bit of shadowing, or dodge, the line around her nostril. Basically relieving the harsh features drawn onto her face. A bit more highlight/contrast in her hair would work nice too.
