Just landed here!

Been moving towards the more abstract recently and thought that I would share a cross section with you :)

Welcome!

Wonderful paintings, quite colorful and vibrant.

As a suggestion: Please include, size, medium titles, and any other info you want us know with each image. It is not required, it just is customary.

hope to see more from you soon

Really like the first two, which I think aren't 100% abstract.

Many thanks for that.

I certainly agree about the first one - which I included as its what set me off on a new direction!

Welcome to the forum. These are all quite interesting. I do like the first two and the last one especially, maybe because I'm a nature lover. Both the colors and the compositions are quite pleasing.
I'm guess that the little white dots on the photos are reflections from the lighting or flash of your camera? (We all have problems with this). I don't see any in the last one, so whatever you did in that photo might work better for you.
Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, there are some reflections on a couple of them - I like to use gloss varnish which I don't think helps.

The first one which is an interesting abstraction is much to my liking.

I like the texture in the paint in some of them, especially the one with the sun in it

Welcome to the forum. I love your foray into abstraction.

Each of these pieces is appealing in a different way. Your semi-representative works have a little whimsy to them and it seems you are able to get lost in process and color in the non-representational works.

I like both, but am always attracted to pieces where people let their spirit take them. I look forward to seeing more

Thanks for the feedback folks

All of these have been taken by friends and family but I have copies printed on to small canvases that I will keep

Working on a few more ones now - holiday season requirements and work permitting!
