CnC always useful, always appreciated.

This is actually Seeing Red after several days of additional development. The effort was to increase complexity & movement, integrate the eyes, make some color adjustments and most importantly to get lost in the process.

It seems a little aquatic now, hence the name change. Was painted to be vertical, but it looks interesting tipped 90 degrees to the left also. I'm going to dampen down the color with a matte varnish followed by a semi-gloss, but will wait a few days to see if other adjustments and fine tuning would improve it. LMK what you think.

Original - from 22 days ago.

Like the changes and yes, it is much more integrated now and flows really well

I like your changes and believe it is finished. Bravo! The eyes have it for Neptune.

Great changes, it is more cohesive now. I really like it the tipped to the left orientation, but both orientations work well.

Laf, Kay, Jim and Perry, many thanks. Undulating, intertwining forms are sometimes a little busy for the eye, but creating them soothes my soul.

Thank you Mary. I was determined to keep them, but in a less creepy fashion. It seems to have worked :).
