Love your style!

Are these the same image posted twice? I can try to remove one for you if so.

Yes they are the same image. I prefer to keep the borderless image as it is cleaner. Thnx for helping, I could not do this.

Hi Linda,
The support is Arches oil paper mounted to a birch wood panel, 12X16.
I have recently settled on Graham oils because they are ground in walnut oil and will not yellow with time. Although this painting uses a variety of brands. Lamp black, titanium/zinc white, Thalia blue, turquoise, Naples yellow. II find myself still refining this painting.

thanks for the information, Patrick, the use of oils helps me understand how you got those soft blends and that ethereal look - would love to know how you mounted the paper on the panel, and if this was done before you started to paint or after it was finished.

hope to see the updated painting!

Hello Linda,
I mounted the paper prior to painting. I used a layer of T-white to mount it, let dry. I thought at first that I could use the white of the paper as is the method for watercolor painting. This proved to be a bit more difficult than I imagined.
The paper has a nice texture though and there is no canvas weave.
I endeavored to render a stereoscopic view of my subject, like Cezanne or Picasso but in (this case) a classic style.
Thank you for the opportunity to answer your questions

Patrick, your style is absolutely wonderful... makes me think of a dream like state. if you hadn't mentioned, i would have said, watercolours ! I'm curious, are you a watercolour artist at heart ? Well, whatever the medium, this is pure eye candy
