I'm mad over this! Wow. Such dramatic colors used to support emotion. What size?

I like the tactile quality of this. No doubt the artist gone mad was an abstract expressionist.

MAD you dare call me?
I proudly thrust out my chest at you, I scoff.
MAD you dare call me?
I stand here, unafraid to speak.
I paint what I feel.
Is that MADNESS?

My eyes BULGE?
Brain full of pain, ready to burst.
My eyes BULGE?
Did you not cry for children in cages?
While the jailers count their silver,
the babies sleep on their silver.

I am a HUNCHBACK you say?
Over the boards I stand creating.
I am a HUNCHBACK you say?
Paintings filled with a father's tear for his babies,
Babies torn away by gringos, poliza, ice.

SMILE! you say, you taunt. I SNARL!
You call humans by just a label.
SMILE! you say, you taunt. I SNARL!
Deportees, but to you they have no names, dreams, hopes.
You are paid your pieces of silver to throw them out.
How do you sleep at night?

My ears? Now you call me Alfred E?
I hear all the cries, the pleas the begging for their babies.
My ears? Now you call me Alfred E?
You have no ears, you must have a deaf heart.
Better to hear than to turn away.

You think I am too mad to CARE?
I have lost the ability to shed tears, true.
You think I am too mad to CARE?
My heart pumps tears that never stop.
Night and day, never a moment's peace.

MAD you dare call me?
Yes, I am furious for the money spent on a wall.
MAD you dare call me?
Money that could be used for helping not hurting
MAD you dare call me?
Crazy? Because I see that the emperor has no clothes, or decency or heart?
SAD is what I truly am.
SAD that the chosen one is just an orange clown, hollow, dead inside.
Perhaps I am not the MAD ONE. perhaps it is him.

That's a high energy portrait! He does have an authentic expression of madness in the eyes. Hopefully he can calm himself down :) Serenity now, serenity now, serenity now.

That awkward moment when you realize the palette knife is sharp enough to hurt somebody
