I've been ambivalent about this piece for ages, but I've taken the plunge and I'm having it framed. This is a rather indifferent phone photo. The original is acrylics (via gel printing) with oil pastel.http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/26-Aug-2019/1043932-untitled_2.jpg

Hmmm, I do like it. Could be someone's lunch set up, or even an artist's lay out with tall brushes on the left, stuck in a denim pocket. The large green shape appears to be a fish face smiling at all of it. Very pleasant and fun.

A lot of people will like this.. I like that I can tell a man made it... not to insult female painters... but itís nice to see a masculine perspective as a man

I like it a lot, the composition with shapes, the blue denim texture, the visible oil pastel strokes. It's fresh and will stay intersting.

Thank you all. I'm glad others like this - I'm a poor judge of my own work.
It's actually going on my own wall, but I think I'll try some others in the same vein. It's very easy with gel prints to over do things. I'm learning to restrain myself...

That is so true. I hate my own work and the ones I deem as horrible, others like a lot. Go figure.
