View Full Version : Remember the underpainting that wasn't?!

I started to add colour today! I think those who said it wasn't really an underpainting were right in a way, but it has helped me to place the colour more confidently. Just the skin done so far (it's a little less yellow than the picture shows.) I think I'll use this method again, but not go as detailed with the 'underpainting' next time, as some of you suggested!

no criticism on you method, what ever works.
I think the result speaks for itself.
