Hello!

I thought I might post a recent painting of mine. I always enjoy the interactions and feedback that I have gotten thus far. Thank you for looking!

Your work is quite impressive.
The feeling of actions, depth, mass, movement and friendly colors make this a joy to study & explore

thank you both!

Though figurative to an extent, it always starts out as an abstraction - and at that stage the goal is to create movement over the surface... and hopefully that is retained in the final work as well.

is that an eye (ust below the bluebird) peering into the Looking Glass? A tour de force!

Not necessarily. However the curious thing about painting however is that forms appear and disappear... so in a sense... maybe yes.

The looking glass in this case serves more as a metaphor of the painted plane- peering into another world - one based on our own, but that functions by its own rules.
