Back on Wet Canvas after a long absence, due to crashed hard drive and lost password. Here's my first chance to post a catchup painting. 18x24 oil. Saw this scene a mile or two from my home in north Texas horse country. It was cold rain and not snow, but I decided it should be snowing a little. :)

I feel the ice in the wind with this painting. You've captured that bitter, challenging atmosphere beautifully. Well done!

Glad you are back, Mike, and your work is absolutely fabulous! I don't envy you living in the Panhandle.

Wow, Great work, the cold/ snow / rain effect is very well done. Is amazing when you know how difficult it can be to give that atmosphere to a painting.

Thank you all so much for the encouraging comments. We don't get much snow, but it does get cold and windy in many parts of Texas.
