Prophetic. I was wondering what your inspiration was for this painting?
Because there's a song that seems to explain elements in this artwork.
I'll PM the link, if you'd like to see the music video. Amazing connection<s>.

I suppose that the inspiration was my previous artwork, which I used as part of this painting. In one sense though, I don't so much get inspired as have a need to create and play with paint or whatever medium I use. I work until I feel satisfied with the result, usually though not always, with no preconceived idea of how it will turn out.

Everything that I make is influenced by everything around me, I am connected to it all. I am not sure how else to explain it. Before I began painting in an abstract manner, I often had difficulty being "inspired" or thinking of what I wanted to paint. Now, with abstract work, there are no restrictions.

@ 4:23 transforms into ... ? with horns? something suicidal?
@ 5:03 transference? connect?

I really found this amazing!

If you feel this reference is incorrect and ridiculous, I'll ask the mod to delete it.

That's a part of abstract work that fascinates me. Each person will see something different. The same thing occurs with music. It is not ridiculous. Your experiences and influences will be different to mine but through the medium of art we connect.
