This was created by first of all using a photo of one of my collages as a stencil in Artrage. I built up more layers of "paint", then printed on to canvas. Then I painted in top of the printout. 12 inch square. Sorry if it is a bit blurry!

I love this. Very creative piece. Is this part of your foray into digital work? Whatever the method, the effects you are getting are sensational.

Thanks guys, much appreciated! This is digital and acrylic paint.

The digital part uses part of a real media collage that I photographed, as well as using the brush tools in the software that I used.

It was then printed on to canvas and used as the start of a new painting in acrylic.

Did you have it printed for you onto canvas or did you do it yourself? Itís really a nice painting. I like it a lot.

Thank you Kay, Anthony and Flo!

I printed it myself on an Epson SC P600 printer. My intention is to create a series, all starting with the same digital underpainting. I have been thinking about doing something like this for a while but it was the acquisition of some software called Artrage that started me thinking about it again.

Love the layering in this. I've been working with Artrage recently in a variety of ways, it's actually a pretty good prog I think

Always depth and interest. A bit moody but the color gives a happier attitude.

Isn't the combination of digital and physical media a wonderful way to work? There are things that are so difficult to do with each but so easy to do with the other.

I expect this will be a very exciting series, if the first is any indication at all. Well done!
