View Full Version : Boat in harbor

A drawing of a boat in a harbor near my house. It is done with uni pin fineliner 0.05mm, 0.03mm and a dip pen and diluted Indian ink on Bristol Board. Sorry about the poor quality photo, my camera would only focus on small parts, I will try and upload a better picture.

Well done! This reminds me of one of Japanese artist Kawase Hasui's woodblock prints. What size is this?

I really like this and I like the way you handled the water.

I don't think you should up load a better photo because whether it is the lack of photo quality or skill in the drawing it looks misty & atmospheric !
Anyway using pens that fine never can be truly captured on a computer screen.
Even so, I'm used to allowing for the shortage of pixels & can see you've caught it there.

It does have an early-morning-misty-day feel to it ... very nice indeed!
