the more I paint the more I realize that you *cant* have too many pastels. I wish I had a nice range of oranges for this one. On uart 800 grit using terry ludwigs, great Americans, unisons and sennelier. The stars were definitely the great Americans and terry ludwigs. They are amazing on a sanded surface. I have a bunch of colorful paper I just got. I wonder which pastels work well on that surface.

I tried to make it I retesting. I hope the water and sky is ok. First time really attempting a dramatic sunset. Cc always welcome. http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/14-Apr-2019/2071723-DFA0ACCF-C397-4403-BE97-0569645AB495.jpeg

Thank you. I really struggle with landscapes so I’m trying to push myself into doing more of them.

The complimentary sky color popping through those fiery clouds add excitement. You are handling your foliage quite nicely too. The only suggestion would be to indicate a shore line that separates the trees and land from the reflections and the water.

What a gorgeous sky and the reflections on the water are very nicely done too! I think you are putting your Great Americans and Terry Ludwigs to good use, Lakshmi. I wish I had the full set of both brands!
