Thanks for hosting and the great images. i have my eye on those flowers but thought I would go for this one first. I should have done a WiP as it took me a while to do this. I was going for loose, so lines are not perfect. I painted the figures by painting everything around them. I loved the nice peaceful atmatmosphere of this reference and tried to convey that...not sure I even like it very much, but here it is anyway.....

Quite difficult painting the figures negatively! - a challenge in itself!:)
Lovely sense of peace about this painting, away from hustle and bustle and a nice, sunny day!

Bunny I really like this one, you did a wonderful job. The fact that you kept it loose creates in my mind a more relaxed, serene scene for this, you captured the light so perfectly and I love your shadows. I'm glad you shared this one. Its great. Well done and big congrats from my part.

Really nice work on this, Bunny. It's beautifully framed by the foliage and plants...very serene...buildings are well done, as are the figures. As Sandy said, your handling of light and shadows is quite lovely.

I cant get my head around negative painting and admire those that seem to do it so easily. You caught the peacefulness of the scene beautifully. I like it very much.
