I really liked the paintings of Robert Antoine Pinchon (Wikipedia has a great collection of them!), so I decided to try Tyree's challenge of painting in his Post-Impressionist style. Mr. Rooster seemed a good candidate. I used acrylics on heavy paper (no small canvases available), and it took a little over two hours. Size is roughly 8" x 12". I really had fun doing this. I haven't worked in acrylics for quite a while.

What a lovely painting - gentle and definitely impressionistic!
Gorgeous colours in the foliage and those lovely soft strokes.
Very successful I think!:)
