Thanks for hosting Maureen. The Cloisters looked so much like one I visited many years ago, it felt very familiar. I did some modeling paste designs at the top of the wall to give it some texture. 10 X 14 acrylic on canvas. A few wonky lines on there but...ehhh. About 2.5 hours.

That's a lot of good work in the time Li - I know I've posted a similar pic before, but not Colin's ..... I thought this quite a challenging ref!
Love the warmth of the walls here, and that texture works well - and those cool shadows!

Dry well done. It has something of a medieval feel to it with its precise lines and careful patterning.

Oh very nice Li, reminds me of a home Winnery place we have in Australia. I see what you did with your adjustments, in the second your greenery plants come more into focus. I like how you left the texture on the walls, I believe you did a wonderful job and everything is coming together for you. Big congrats from my part.
