I think we all struggle with photographing our art work. You are not alone. You have painted some very believable leaves. Pulling in some of the background color ties it all together. Your diagonal composition is strong as well. Well done!

Oh, photos can change it and make it look so bad. But, I must confess, that it may look better in person, but it is really nice here. I love it. I love the composition, the softness, and the colors. Well done! :-)

UArt 800 is really good for getting fine details. I agree - you did a very nice job with this!

It looks well done.
I often struggle with taking good photos too. It happens mostly when the painting has a lot of dark colors. It seems many cameras have problems to get the nuances of dark colors.
When I have a painting that is difficult to photograph, I try to correct it with image manipulating programs (e.g. rawtherapy) to get closer to the original.
I really like this painting. Very nice.:)
