well, I'm still trying to create a suitable portrait of my mother-in-law's cat.
the previous attempt was not up to standard, so here we go again.:)
I put this together from a collage of various ref. pics because Bonnie will not sit for the camera at all. I must admit that this has been one of my most challenging portraits ever. I still need to color her eyes and nose as per mom's request, she has very distinct blue eyes.

there are a couple of other ref pics from my phone that I used as well, I took the pose of a completely different cat and applied the distinct characteristics of Bonnie.

she is aprox. 9X12" on Bristol Smooth with micron 005 pens.

please let me know what you think as all C&C is welcome.

Unfortunately, we don't know Bonnie!..... the drawing is good, but she looks a lot more severe than her photos (disregarding the large one from which you took the pose).Bonnie's eyes look to be more angled than the drawing's .... I wonder if that could make the face softer?

Yes, I agree. I'm thrilled She's the best mom-in-law a guy could ask for. :)
