It depends what you're looking for, but this one is full of copyright free images http://gimp-savvy.com/PHOTO-ARCHIVE/index.html

And this one has a variety - some are free to use, others you need permission to use. Plenty are free. http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml You do have to register to download the larger images.
