This is the first acrylic painting I have finished in over 30 years. It's 16x18. It was fun and I hope I can come up with an idea for another. I'm just getting into non-commercial art for the first time and I'm kind of all over the place and trying to find my niche. Any comments welcome.

This is excellent. Nice touch with the light rays. Great detail in the leaves and bark texture. Well done!

What lovely comments! I'm so excited with this bit of success that I've started another. I've always been fascinated with depicting sunlight and study Thomas Kincaid's paintings. Thanks again!

Lot of nice work there. Nicely done. Great foliage, good composition, colors, nice sense of depth.

One minor thought - maybe put a little more variation into the water as it flows over the falls.

Great "rebirth". Just remember, we're all trying to make 2D canvas read like the images are 3D.

Beautiful scene... I could sit and listen to the stream trickle by all day.
