Just finished this one of a street in my home town. The restaurant prominently showing on the left is a favorite place of mine. Not only for the food, but the proprietor is very friendly to local artists and allows them to hang artwork there at any time (see: http://www.andysaputo.com/dukes.html).

I have to mention how much I enjoy this medium. The easy clean up, the quick drying, and the vibrant colors make it so easy to sit down and paint for 10 minutes or 10 hours equally.

Excellent work. The colors and gold lit building reminds me of Van Gogh's Cafe Terrace at Night.

Thanks everyone!
I'm definitely a van Gogh fan so there may be some influence.

Vibrant painting! Your love of the place and area comes through so strongly!

And I agree about acrylics - people don't believe me when I give them that same list, but it's all true.

Love the colors the purple, yellow and deep blue play off each other so well, it's both vibrant and peaceful at the same time. What a rare mix.
Have you shown this lovely artwork to the friendly proprietor?

I did, actually! He asked if it was for sale. I said I would like to frame it and display it at his establishment (along with other pieces) and then at the end of the show, he can buy it.
