I know my main mistake in this painting - I painted Mt. Chincogan right in the middle of my painting, darn.... and my water ripples should be thinner, I think. Tried once more the ghost gum trees from Len Hend's course as well.

Everybody does that..I still do it sometimes, it's annoying. But, the water is fabulous..very nice.

It's still a lovely peaceful scene. The placement of the trees balance it nicely.

It's like a colourful Japanese print. A very attractive painting. The strong blue is very effective.:)

I have no standing as an artist, only as a fan of images....so I am carefully painfully suggesting that the two trees on the left don't hit the standard of everything else in your picture.

I agree, I need more practice painting Australian ghost gum trees.
