My wife's coworkers son is having a fundraiser for his battle with cancer and this painting will be donated for their silent auction. It's of the famed Buckingham Fountain in Chicago.

Thanks Gayle! It's not until May so I'll let you know when I get more info. One thing to note, the gold building in the center is where they stay when they go downtown for treatment so it has special meaning for them. I tried to make it glow and stand out a bit more than the other buildings.

Just wanted to post a follow-up. The fundraiser was a great success and a lot of money was earned for their great charities. The painting sold for around $300 and there was a small bidding war for it, which was fun to watch. For more info, check out my site:

I actually did take some high res photos! My hope is to give the mother a copy of the painting. She loved it very much, but couldn't outbid the highest bidder for it. I think a copy will be just as good!
