A bit of mad playtime, not intended to be a finished piece of work. Mixed media, on watercolour paper, approx. 50cm square http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/29-Mar-2018/106950-20180329_125901-01.jpeg

It may have been fun, but it's seriously good (IMO).

noting the change in format  how did it feel? you need to back up quite a bit more, don't you. great nervy detail in the traversing formation, and the lower right is so pure.

If you planned to, keep on going. The texture shifts are great!

Thanks folks, this was just a frenetic bit of play to let of steam because I was busy with non art stuff over the last few days. The format is an old favourite which I revert to now and then, no need to think about what I am doing because it is habitual, it means that I can concentrate on enjoying the feel of the materials and nothing else.

Your play time is very productive. Iíve been missing color the last few days, so this is a treat. I love the junction of the violets/purples with the yellow. Adding the teal was perfection. Really well done with lots of energy.
