Always though Lucy Ball was a hoot.
This is on a 8x10" canvas.

What a great painting, Moepar! Technicolor Tessie, as she was called in the Industry, due to the strong colors of her hair and eyes.
I also like the textures and the overall softness. An eternally young look, befitting her comedy, which was also eternally young and enduring. It's a great and interpretive portrait I think. Makes me happy!

Got it in one without even using most of her red hair!

Puts me in mind of Warhol ( if you don't mind ), but with that Moepar spin. Creative and the text is a treat.
My favorite Lucy? The chocolate assembly line.

The funniest and most iconic American lady. You have captured the essence and brilliance of her. Love the newspaper collaging. I did that once and this encourages me to try again.
