Acrylics on board. Around 14”X11”.

I love the composition with the plan back drop and all the naughty bits on the ground…!!!

Beautiful, autumn and dusky, but she seems so lonesome. There is a hint of a figure in right background. Does she know?

Lovin it. That little chunk out of the support at the top is surprising and effective as a secondary focal point. Cool idea

Yeah, that dude hovering over her shoulder looks shifty and weirdly he's carrying an umbrella too!

Wow, I love the colours and texture. The figure is excellent.

mm, another good one, liking the high horizon and the mysterious (female) 'shadow' behind the main character and all that foreground color is just wow, i'm not sure what to guess it might be.

Hmm, to me she is lost in thought, walking through the autumn leaves, the park keeper in the background is sweeping them up.

My reaction to this echoes what's already been said. A woman lost in thought walking through fallen leaves followed by a mysterious second figure or enigmatic shadow.

The bombing never ends
the skies are full of blood
the ground littered with debris
she can no longer hide

the shadows of the dead
follow her everywhere
she can no longer hide
under the black umbrella

she prays for them
she cries for them
she runs from them
she will soon join them

what kind of "leaders"
bomb their own people?
they are the murderers
they are filled with hate

Someday their actions
will be met with revenge
then the endless cycle
will begin agin

black umbrellas
blood red skies

She's about to step out of the painting and onto the painting palette

She's brave, but scared.
Stepping out of that drab shadowy self into her bright tomorrows,
I think that umbrella may be protection from more than just rain.

I think it's beautiful Hairy Wolf, A real framer!

Beautiful..top to bottom!

Its over. Trudging ahead without much joy.

The beauty that used to be on the red clay background now lies scattered before her, never to be displayed again.

Or something else entirely.

Boa, I struggled with the composition.... the foreground is as thick as a palette.
Bilateral, maybe she doesn’t know. Quite honestly, I didn’t know either. That mysterious figure behind that looks like a geisha in her kimono just turned out there unintentionally.
Rick, I thank you kindly!
Katie, cool imagination.

Jim, yup, maybe.... thank you!u
Greggo, powerful lyrics! As good as ever! Much obliged!
Laf, yup, I get that feeling too!
Babs, perhaps it’s the hard rain that’s gonna fall?.... She’s in a frame now!
Toowoomba, much appreciated!
La, your words are wow , thanks!
