Yet another 35cm sq, collaged acrylic papers with acrylic ink.

By the way, on my screen the grey area looks more dominant than it is in real life, difficult to know what others are seeing!

Nice colors and flow with plenty of eye candy to work around the entire canvas with as I take it all in my friend.

two pieces in one day!
this one has two personal favourites; "grey is the color of masters" (Odilon Redon) and the pure greens that are almost absent from 'the old masters' of yore.
i see surface covering the organic in a completely neutral way, like an unbiased suggestion which is the seed. there's rest and a little bit of hiding. this is the most straightforward work in your series, a breathing room.

Thank you both, you say such nice things! I did this one first, quite quickly and decided to leave it as it was. I had already picked out some papers for the second one so just had to carry on! ;) Grey is a beautiful colour, so many nuances and variations.

Nice composition and so much to enjoy with this series. I do love gray, but agree that, at least in the picture, the lighter gray (lower half) and the teal attract the most attention. Would love to see another pic in slightly different light.

This piece works as transition piece in the series. It visually paves the way for the complete color shift you made in the other piece you posted. Nicely done!

I'm liking the soft neutrals setting the stage for the hotter and cooler hues.
