Good close crop of your subject ... it works on a larger scale too - it's filling my 10" tablet screen!

Dynamic composition. Playful style. Wonderful color. Good stuff.

I like this. Great colors and comp.

What's that snake-like thing running diagonally next to those suction cups?

Great little Still Life. The tight view and brilliant colour gives it a strong impact.

Hi everyone, thank you for the feedback. The pic turned out too dark..the colors are a bit lighter in real life. The purple thing is a retro-phone-style handset.

Sorry, Patrick. I was trying to make a funny. Not only do I know what that is, sometimes I actually miss things like that because it was possible to leave them home.

To reiterate, it is a very nice painting and I like it a lot.

Thanks everyone, and Cliff...no problem, and thanks too. You'd be forgiven for not knowing what kind of snake it is :) I tend to paint with somewhat soft definition, especially in small sizes like this. Even the wood lamp base at upper left is quite vague. BTW it's called a Native Union Moshi Pop handset...I've bought 3 already over the last several years.

a truly wonderful composition for such a small area...and the modern generation will have no idea what that 'snake thing' is....can utilize it for a quiz game..... ;)
