35 cm square, collaged hand painted papers and acrylic. May knock back some areas or might just move on to the next :)

graphicali, This is fun, colorful, positive and so interesting. Love that turquoise expecially! I think this is complete in every sense.

i love it

I like this very much. It looks complete as it is, but I think it might be more dynamic by taking some of the brighter colors back a bit,,,or not.

Thanks Chaya, Mudar and Jim. My instinct says finished, my brain is saying subdue some areas. My instinct nearly always wins and it will this time, thanks for helping me decide!

Yup listen to your instinct :) That battle between the left and right brain is all so familiar to me! Over the years I've learnt to listen to my instinctive part of the brain when it comes to my art.

Instinct wins. Part of the strength in this piece is the vibrancy of the color. Composition is wonderful. One of my favorites.

Fun and full of surprises, love it! Are the polkadot pieces fabric?

Thanks Chaya, good to know I am not the only one with this dilemma!
Thanks Bilateral, glad that you like it. :)
Kay, the polka dot bits were the only pieces that I didn't paint myself. They are from a sheet of thick indian paper. It has little metallic polka dots on it. Very pretty paper. I have a collection of bits and pieces of paper that I can't bear to throw out but they are so disorganised that it is always a bit random as to what gets pulled out and used.

Nice, bright and cheerful!

I like this. Nicely balanced with lots of cool effects.
Because the circle on the left hangs from a piece of polka dot paper, the paper becomes tape holding various parts together.

Thank you Susan and Cliff!

You nailed the feeling of the big top and I see the title perfectly. The multiplicity of textures and colors are awesomely executed.

Really nice. It pairs well with the clown collage. It seems festive to me, maybe because of the polka dots and more pastel tones.

Excellent. Don't think you have to tone anything down. The ocher is acting as a neutral nicely in this piece. And you've done a great job of integrating colours and visual textures/patterns.

Thanks folks, much appreciated!
