I included some close up shots so you can really get a feel of the detail contained within this painting.

The close up shots confirm what I already suspected..that there is a lot of detail in these. Nice work.

Katie thank you and I figured it was time to really zoom in tight so everyone could have a better idea of what they are looking at in my work.

Incredibly clever and extremely painstaking. This is amazing detail, you must post a video.

Bilateral I appreciate that my friend and this is very Zen like work that I just zone out into while I am working and it is very tedious indeed. I will start a new piece this weekend and capture it on video.

There is a lot of work in there! You really need those close ups to appreciate that fact. I know what you mean about zoning out, I used to do a lot of pen and ink work and doing the cross hatching/stippling was like that.

Graphicali I appreciate you and thanks for that because I know just what you mean on the pen and ink side of creation.

Nice finished piece! For some reason I always like your first version when you begin. Am I weird or what?

This is outstanding. Every separate part looks to be exactly where it belongs. The step by steps remind me of a time lapse of some natural phenomenon, like bees building a hive, or a dandy lion going to seed.

So much positive energy Anthony! Like Kay, I too like the first version the best..but like the details in the final!

Chaya thanks and you and Kay are on the same abstract wave length. I just see the first one as a background starting point, but I have always been crazy about the details.

With these I always like the beginning but the finish is so much more satisfying. I think it is being able to see so much more evidence of your hand in the final work that makes exploring the finished pieces so enjoyable.
