So stunning and powerful! It reminds me of a slab of granite we were wanting for our kitchen countertops. Very rich!

I see a ripple in the time space continuum revealing the great beyond in the darkness…nice

I like this one. It has a contemporary Japanese vibe, meaning simplicity of line and uncluttered field with complexity in way in which your palette was used. Highly successful.

Thanks to you all! I am glad that you didn't find it too simple. I often find it difficult to stop myself from overworking things and so I was pleased when I finished this!

Not overworked at all. Wonderful work. Graceful movement and simplicity together.

Thanks Cliff, yes managed to stop in time with this. Most of my paintings end up almost reworked because I have pushed it too far.

Love the composition. This flows so well it almost looks like it formed naturally. Beautiful.

The palette may be limited, but not the beauty and feeling of a portal to space; very nice, Alita.

Oh I thought I posted already on this. Great stuff.

This painting got me thinking and spurred me to start the thread about what makes a good abstract.

I see an organic form, maybe a sea creature, the inside of a barnacle looking up. Above, stars. Below, above. The colors make it easy to look at. It seems layered, has depth, which adds interest.

Structured, something logical, beautiful, but with surprise.
