Intriguing. Looks like one of those mysterious giant stone balls from the Costa Rican jungle.

Question is, why is it being checked out by a crossbowman in medieval Europe?

Some trickery by space aliens, I'd suspect.

Coming back to this one a second time. Not completely sure what I think of it just yet. But I do think the unusual composition heightens the feeling of strangeness, which is good.
