Super smart and catchy idea! Inks would do great on this surface.

I like the fact that you've re-used the foil, nice work altogether

Sorry I'm not understanding. Did you emboss the foil? What are the bookmarks? Will this be for making prints? I love the owl designs.

they are embossed . i was thinking maybe bookmarks ,pendant. other materials like clay. no prints at the moment.
kinda new to alcohol inks. but not sure if masking fluid is good to outline owl.

not much of a wine drinker , but i really enjoy working with the foil.
should try the inside of coffee bags for the inks. and they would laminate better.
i tried the inks tonight. no masking fluid
white,green,gold, n reds

Wow The inks are beautiful. Can you do this with store brought aluminum or is it too flimsy? I know some brands are thicker than others. What about soda cans?

the inks colors are my new favorite to paint with. thought about the heavy duty aluminum foil but haven't tried it yet. maybe need to adhere to watercolor paper. cans i have cut them only few times before to try to work with but so sharp I moved on to something else. should use gloves. success with few small bottles of metal paint I use for my wire sculptures. neighbor gave me few sheets of copper that was fun to work with also.
