I'm liking it. Interesting shapes, textures and a lovely gradation.

The only thing I can imagine that would make you think it isn't quite working is that there are two "objects" to look at. The red/violet eye and the tentacles at the top. That sets up a bit of a competition for the eye to bounce between two areas, which sometimes doesn't work. But I wouldn't suggest changing it.

I think two things makes it work for me: First, the tentacles are spread along the arc, so the secondary focus is a large area, and second, the large circular pour has such a beautiful gradation from deep rich darks to luminous lights.

Cool stuff!

I like any AIs no matter the technique or application. Great assessment, Rick! Definitely cool, Chris!

I like this a lot. I have no suggestions for improvement. The colors and hues are great as well!

So what is your preference from the hue changes? Personally I like the original colour and think it has a good balance, I keep going to the viewers top left corner where there's a sort of silhouette which intrigues me

I like the original colors - beautiful combo of teal and violet. I think possibly the only negative for me is the fact that it's so centered. But that's just nitpicking. Had you not said anything, I probably would have not even noticed that.

I like it just the way it is in the original form.

The original one is perfect just as is...

Thanks everyone. I think the colors in the first one seem too familiar , like overdone. I think my mom had a 1980's vase with the same finish :)
The other problem is that one of the competing centers of interest isn't that interesting. A center of interest needs to be interesting :)
I think I like it in grey the most , it has a weird sculptural quality. Anyway, thanks for your comments, crits and insights!
