the purity improbability principle

(less minimalist/more filthy, like life)

12x16, oils

c&c welcomed, always

This one feels cleaner and simpler than the prior one. It might need more complexity to give it more interest? The colour scheme and the mark making make for a very pretty piece. Well done!

A dynamic one with the swirling eye reminding me of a tornado or cyclone.

Sand, the froth and action of a tubular wave, a portal and space. Very engaging. Nice!

Great piece. It looks like we're looking at a cyclone through a window

thanks guys 'n gals
it was a rough sketch of a wave that i dug out of a pile of 'finish or redo' so i let my mind wander into a virulent churning bacteria.
if i can find another 12x16 kicking about i'll do a third before altering this one, depending on how 3 ends up, who knows what best to do to give the trio a continuity to display together.
it's been a fun distraction from flailings and fairy commissions of late.

Very nice.

I agree with Kay's comment about the eye of a storm interpretation. The lines seem to give the long rectangles distinct forms like vertical blinds.
