This was done on the iPad and Procreate. It was started in the wee hours of the morningbecause I couldn’t sleep. When I looked at what I had done the next morning I was a bit surprised and decided to finish it. I tried this a number of years ago and was Happy but I changed it to a fall scene because I couldn’t get my mind around all the green. This time I painted the scene as I remembered it and was happy with the way it turned out. Thanks for looking and all comments and critiques are always welcome

Thanks Greg! I was so excited when I finally got my mind around greens! Still love fall scenes best but now I can do green!

I know the feeling, those sleepless nights, but it does give us some more free times for our memories.
I would prefer that the painting was warmer but nicely detailed and painted.

Thanks John! I actually thought about that but I wanted to replicate the feeling of the place, Wet and cool. I did do another version a few years ago where I transformed it to fall. It had another whole feel to it.

Thanks Doug, Michelle!
Michelle, no I had a few photo references that I cobbled it together from. But the memory was he feel of the place I wanted to convey.

Very good rendering! It appears to be a place to relax and do some thinking quietly. Nicely done!

Thanks Kirk! The funny part of that though is we were up there to track our cars, which is about as opposite of relaxed as you can get. So this place was a nice quiet escape.
