Very nice, love how the blue and orange give a sense of evening light. Did you work freehand, or did you use a clone from a photo? what software did you use?

I started with a free photo from online. I used Corel's Painter Essentials 5. There I applied the Impressionistic Paint with a Ink brush. Then I used the soft cloner to add back in some details after which I saved the image. I opened it in PicsArt app in Windows 10 Pro and added the lense Flare, upped some of the saturation a bit and saved the image again.

So I only used the Soft Cloner brush to actually paint on the image, the rest was done digitally. Oh, I had to choose and place and size the lense flare as well. Not much hard work but I was happy with the results.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did working on it.

Thanks for letting us know of your process. I'm trying to get a handle on the cloner in Painter for a project. It has to be done in a very specific realistic style. Getting control of the cloner can be frustrating.

OH so nice! I love when you get to use all the various digital tools and it comes together like this! I do that a lot on the Ipad. Kind of got spoiled with digital and now I find myself hitting a UNDO button when I'm working traditionally. Oh well.
