View Full Version : Carol's Lake Lesson

Carol, just finished this...I know the colors are somewhat different but the more I tried for the brighter colors the worse it looked. After two attempts, I just did my own thing with the colors. I think I got the trees in the foreground too dead looking for the trees in the background...oh well...next time!
Thanks for your great lesson! In my first attempt, I thought the greeny frisket was greeny paint...guess what I did! Next time I'll read the directions all the way thru before starting...maybe! lol.

Hey Carly http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif You have a nice landscape here. The lesson was great but not as easy as it looked at first glance. Carol did a good job!! We have begged a promise of another lesson that includes waves out of Carol when she gets back from her getaway! I can't wait http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Carly...this looks great!! rofl my arse off over that frisket .. toooo much !! You are such a kick.
Those trees really don't look too dead for the background trees, mine are pretty much that way too. The photo ref I used was also like that. Love the water you did! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

I love the colours in the sky.

By the way, can anyone explain how I can insert some of the smilies in my posts please? I've not quite got the hang of this yet.
