Just found this section... I have specialised in Welsh lovespoon carving (decorative Spoons carved always from a single piece of timber, apart from possible inlay).

I have also done some other small scale carving, cut hand-crafted jigsaw puzzles from small paintings on ply and have been working on some carved lettering and an automata construction. The lettering and automata are for using in a re-working of my lapsed website and recently re-started blog; www.whimsicalwood.blogspot.com (http://whimsicalwood.blogspot.com)

What beautiful work! How large are these? Without something of a known size in the photos it's impossible to judge size. Gorgeous spoons though.

Just looked at your website, this is amazing work.

Incidentally, you can go to MYWC top left and put a link to your website in your signature field.

Beautiful work, David! I was always fascinated by how a pleasing visual imput (looking at a piece of art, object, nature or person) can turn into deep emotional feelings. Your works have that effect on me. Congratulations and thanks!

beautiful!

You most likely do know his work - but if not it's worth looking at the work of Grinling Gibbons (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ6tgxNU_gc). I think you would love it.
