the continued saga of knifed x's 5 (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1435055), oils

compositional and color studies i suppose - and i wonder, of the true monochrome two, how BIG would one need to go to get away with such minimalist color?

any crits are welcomed, always

the size of a piece of art is both overrated and underrated

in a world where we so often have an image that is sidexside with another of an actual larger or smaller dimension, size becomes irrelevant

in a gallery and museum setting, size is very important, the larger ones seem to get the most attention, whilst on a computer monitor it matters very little what size art really is.

Because these are not numbered or titled I cannot ID them for individual crits,

I really am drawn to the minimal minimalastic ones, monochromish.

I agree with Greg about the size.

thanks guys

i'd love to be able to do a [some] big 4x4 foot or so knifed piece[s], slathered with a big trowel ... would have to presell somehow tho, to cover the cost and elevate storage issues. perhaps corporate.

Either very large or quite small. You could have a series of very miniature ones.
