I went down to the Cotswolds to see a Kurt Jackson exhibition yesterday with a couple of friends. A lovely day, warm enough to not need a coat and the exhibition really good,

I managed a couple of very quick sketches. First around lunchtime while the sun was high. It's the 400 year old covered market hall (https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/market-hall). The buildings are old, all warm honey coloured Cotswold stone. A car parked, blocking my view before I could carry on across the left hand page :(

The second was around 4pm with sun lower and the buildings shaded, the market hall from a different angle.

Great sketches Vivien. I know the feeling when someone parks smack dab in the middle of things.
Regards,
Greg.

thanks Greg - it was double yellow lines too so he shouldn't have parked there at all
