Some really wonderful things going on here. I think that, for me, some of the earlier steps were better than the final result and some of the details are better than the total work. I see effects that remind me of Rider and Nolde that were marred by too much finish and detail. That's from my own very subjective point of view but over all I think this is a very successful work, imaginative, inventive and well conceived.
