Thought I would go post war with the next drawing. Supermarine Scimitar F.Mk.1 on HMS Royal Ark

Very nice Don . You could go a shade or two darker on the grey top coat but it looks good as is. One of the best looking jets in my life .

I have worked with that particular a/c often.
I was slightly in awe, the first time I was up close and personal with one ( being used to Sea Hawks And Sea Venoms) I was on Eagle and along side in Gibraltar with the Victorious. We had a warning of high winds, and being duty ship, the duty watch Flight Deck Party, we were sent to North Front to secure all the Naval Aircraft. The Vic's Scimitars looked huge!.
Nice drawing, Scimitars used to have a dustbin slung under the aft fuselage at the fuel dump valve which was prone to leak, we were forever scrubbing spilt fuel.

Thats nice and the colouring seems to work better on this than some of the piston aircraft drawings.

I would agree that the colour on this one really works. Nice piece of work.

Lovely rendition - I wish Airfix would produce a 1:72 scale kit of this aircraft.
