I found a book I made several years back that I had intended to make into an art journal. Finally started that and decided the sunflower would go nicely on a page I had already put some paint on. This is the result... didn't take much time but it was fun and I like it. Don't know what else will happen to the page, maybe nothing...http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/07-Jul-2017/998-wde_sunflower.jpg

Lovely line work, Helen, on your pre-painted page. Definitely sunflower colors! You could sketch in some thick stems and big, fat leaves on the right side.

I love It! The photo was actually taken between an afternoon storm and sunset - the flower has a very pinky peachy tone which you caught wonderfully! There's no such thing as a wasted journal page right? ☺

I'm a big fan of color for color's sake, so to me these were gorgeous abstract pages on their own. Yet adding the sunflower into that environment is beautiful as well, so well drawn, and the colors make it quite poignant! Wonderful, lovely work!!!

I love the bright colors, and the sunflower works perfectly with them. I think can call this page done!
This worked well. The sunflower goes so well with the splashes of color that were already there. Very creative!

This is nice. The fact that it is across two pages of a book somehow enhances it.
Very nice summer picture!
