View Full Version : WDE June 16 Then STOP! Museum of Art

Sometimes the best part of art is knowing when to stop. I'm sure this is less than two hours (it was only two wash cycles, maybe an hour and a half), but that little voice said, "Enough! If you go any further, it will get worse!" So - with apologies to SFMA, and their architects - here is my drawing. Thanks for looking and suggestions are welcome!
Hard pastel on some sort of paper :)

Wheee! Well done!
This looks like Canson paper...?
I agree, it was time to stop on this. It keeps it nice and loose.

It is lovely, soft and alluring!

Love it! The addition of more pastel would spoil your wonderful effect.

Good on you for being able to stop at this point, when it would be so easy with this image to go overboard with picky details.

I definitely like this as is. Just enough detail and lovely soft colors. I especially like the reflections in the road. I know what you mean about knowing when to stop!

I agree about knowing when to stop, not always easy. I love your soft pretty pastel work.
