The title is a shameless use of a song from the old TV series 'Raw Hide'. I used a wonderful photo reference from PMP by Debbie Grason Lincoln. This is 10x16 using Rembrandt sticks and CarbOthello pencils. I am donating this to a charity auction where the proceeds are given to children with physical difficulties. C&C most welcome and appreciated. Will use same for future works. Thank you for looking and commenting. Bob

First of all, it is very generous of you to donate such a beautiful painting. I was also so a fan of "Rawhide", so thank you for the memory. You have it all in place IMHO. The composition works, the cattle drift off into the distance, the light on the horse is amazing, and this tells a great story. Well done!

Thank you Karen, Donna, David and Moises for your kind comments. The painting might be a little fussy around the horses tack but I did enjoy painting it. This is my fifth year donating a painting and it makes me happy knowing I am helping a good cause.
