Thanks for hosting, Maryse! Been a busy month, but I've settled back into my other home in Oregon, where there are a LOT of art supply stores to keep me busy...

I can never seem to get a handle on watercolor on paper, so I thought I'd try Yupo. I like it so far. These are both 9"x12" and they each probably took about two hours.

Last week's...(and I did paint it Friday so close!)

Holly, I love your works on Yupo! It is an amazing surface that can sustain lots of abuse. The little boy by the water is very nice and your people at the River Walk are just fantastic with the colored umbrellas!

Enjoy being at your other home; we are at ours in New Mexico, so much cooler and prettier than hot dry Texas.

Holly, your two paintings are luminous and strong, and I enjoy to see the little boy near the river with your eyes. I love your brushstrokes. Yupo seems a fantastic paper ( or perheaps you are a fantastic painter). Thanks for painting.

Gosh, you sure got a handle on that yupo. I got some samples and tried it a few years ago and it sent me screaming back to paper. Love them both.
