Fantastic! The size of the juvenile is huge in comparison to the adoptive parent.

Wonderful work. Great detail on the cuckoo's feathers and I like the size differencebetween the two birds. Interestingly I heard my first cuckoo of the year yesterday.

Excellent, I once had to handle a cuckoo brought into the veterinary surgeon where I worked, and take it for release in a local wood. It's the only time I've seen these elusive birds in the "flesh".

Beautiful work, it's amazing to see such a little bird feeding a big bird. Cuckoos are in decline here, although speaking to a farmer friend yesterday he said he heard a cuckoo on his land for the first time in five years. :cat:
